In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Hearing Neil Young's "Hey Hey My My" off his album Live Rust as a child. The guitar intro was so foreboding in its detuned aggressive passion. I knew I needed to learn what instrument made that sound. This started me on the path to electric guitar. Memories at the drum kit, finding the groove amidst the bass line was a fine moment. I was super influenced by Curtis Mayfield's vibe on this and I wanted to show influence but do it in my own way.
