In the artist’s words: Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Star” This was conceived and (mostly) written during a trip to NYC to record an album with a band that I was working with at the time. I was hanging out in Central Park, and it just started coming out. The lyrics are are a true story of a girl I met there.
