He would tell me stories about playing a few gigs with Hank Williams, before he was such a huge star. I'll never forget those moments spent with him in Greenville, AL. Alan Jackson, Alan Jackson: 16 Biggest Hits Hank Williams, Jr., The Complete Hank Williams Jr. Keith Whitley, Keith Whitley: Greatest Hits These are probably my 3 most influential artists. Keith Whitley is the voice that made me want to sing. Hank Jr. made me proud of where I'm from and who I am. Alan Jackson's traditional country sound defined my youth and the sound I wanted to have. Tell us why you chose this song. “Some Old Dirt Road” This isn't my most popular song, but it means the most to me. I wrote this one about a very special place in my hometown where a lot of memories were made. I think if you listen to the lyrics, you'll know more about me than I could ever explain. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? By far it was when I was asked by Jesse Keith Whitley, (Keith's son) to play Keith Whitley Songs for the celebration ******th Whitley 's induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame this year. To have his family love that song, just means the world Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I've got so much I'd love to do! I want to play at the Ryman in Nashville, and of course it's a dream to play on the Grand Old Opry stage one day! There's many more, but those two are definite bucket list things I hope to accomplish in my career.
