Mia Rago

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Chicago born and suburb raised, Mia Rago is an indie pop singer songwriter and operatic soprano. Her new single 'All of My Scars' will be released June 14, 2024 and gives a real and honest look into her battle with scoliosis and subsequent surgeries. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Mia’s debut album titled Wishing We Could Dream, due later this year, is a story of the light and darkness of Mia’s life to date. Featuring songs of love, lust, heartache, and death the album is beautifully crafted with a repetitive theme of dreams. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Released in 2020 Mia's debut EP, A Sea of Darkness, is sweeping and melodic, gorgeously written with an undercurrent of darkness that often flows just beneath the surface - much like the forthcoming album.
