In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. A friend recommended attending a Salvation Army sleep-away camp with him. I was the only white kid at camp. One night there was a gazebo where teenagers were partying. The song was “Dance to the Drummer’s Beat” by Herman Kelly & Life. Sweet memory.
