In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My very first musical memory involves me telling my parents when I was 5 years old that I would one day be a famous singer. Back then and today, I was aware of that. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Whitney Houston, Whitney Houston I fell in love with Whitney because of the way she could deliver her vocals with such conviction. She really knew how to command an audience, and I could feel what she was singing about through her words. To this day I listen to this album. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Maria” This song was incredibly emotional for me to write with my producer B. Howard and cousin Nikki Cummings. Maria is about a typical woman who gives her all to her life's passion, but he hardly acknowledges her value as a woman. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moment in my music career so far was when I hit the Billboard charts for my song "Physical" at number 13 on the R&B Song Sales Charts, outselling Doja Cat, The Weeknd, and Alicia Keys. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have a bucket list that includes receiving a Grammy, which is the one award I will ever win.
