Dominican artist Melii is a Bronx native with bilingual rap skills, who quickly made a name for herself in hip-hop and R&B since her 2017 debut.

∙ Melii’s first release in 2017 was “No Simple Chick,” but she truly broke through a few months later with her bilingual flip of Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow.”
∙ In 2018, her single “Icey,” scored a high-profile cosign from Rihanna, who included the track in a social media preview of her fashion line.
∙ She featured on “Wit the S***s (W.T.S),” a track from rapper Meek Mill’s 2018 album Championships, and she also guested on songs by Tory Lanez and Lil Durk.
∙ “HML,” a collaboration with A Boogie wit da Hoodie that appeared on her 2019 debut, phAses, reached No. 22 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart.
∙ She teamed up with dancehall star Gyptian on 2019’s “High For U,” and joined forces with rapper 6LACK on the 2020 ex anthem “You Ain’t Worth It.”
