In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Singing my first song, "Sniffin'" - it was from the perspective of a dog who was trying to get table scraps and beer. And my brother and I dancing (spinning) with my dad in the gameroom to "You Spin Me Right Round (Like a Record)" by Dead or Alive. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Big & Rich, Horse of a Different Color The Killers, Hot Fuss The Killers, Sawdust The Killers - ear candy, perfect lyrics and angst. They were the soundtracks of my adolescence. Horse of a Different Color was the first album my bro, mom, and I ever heard where every song was a banger. It had soulful and funny parts. Inspiring! Tell us why you chose this song. “Escape Me” This is the first mix/master of mine that sounds professional enough to be on the radio. So much went into it and I feel at peace finally having a track that shows what I'm capable of. Shoutout to Misfit Music NC (mix, co-prod) & Hologram Mastering. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? There have been a few! But one is that a former writer for a popular TV show took an interest in my music and offered a lot of encouragement. That felt validating! Another was my first open mic. I was so scared I was shaking, but pulled it off. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? SO MUCH!!!! I want to sing with Brandon Flowers, release a full album, have at least one music video blow up, and it would be pretty amazeballs to hear one of my songs on Alt Nation.
