About Mayday Parade
Mayday Parade is a rock band from Florida who built a following by selling their self-released EP, Tales Told by Dead Friends, to fans at the Vans Warped Tour. ∙ The band’s emo-influenced, Gold-certified debut album, 2007’s A Lesson In Romantics, was named the ninth-best pop-punk album of all time by Rock Sound readers in 2018. ∙ Their pop-punk cover of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know,” featuring Pierce the Veil’s Vic Fuentes, reached No. 18 on Billboard’s Rock Songs chart in 2012. ∙ Three of their albums reached the Top 10 on multiple Billboard charts, including 2015’s Black Lines, which topped both the Rock and Alternative charts. ∙ After leaving Mayday Parade, founding member Jason Lancaster launched a successful solo career with the pop-rock band Go Radio.
