About Mattea Musso
Mezzo-soprano Mattea Musso's specialty is vocal music of the Renaissance and Baroque eras, as well as Mediterranean folk music.
Musso has worked with the conductors Federico Maria Sardelli, Raffaele Puccianti, Fabio Lombardo, and others. She appeared with Federico Bardazzi and the Ensemble San Felice on their recording of Monteverdi's Vespro della Beata Vergine, released by the Brilliant label in 2016. Her first solo recording, Toutes les nuits, was released in 2017 and featured the music of several Renaissance and Baroque composers. Musso regularly performs in Argentina, Italy, and the United States, and also researches and studies 17th century Sicilian music.
