In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. For years I took piano lessons in grade school - the only music lessons I ever received. I remember thinking I should be nervous before recitals, but I never was. I received top honors on the Texas Music Theory Exam after placing in the top tier. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Szn (Acoustic)” I wrote "the szn" as the last song for the record that summed up the album beautifully. It was the track that gave the album it's name. Written about love, loss, hope over fear, political persecution and oppression. Perseverance. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Definitely a memorable moment was performing to a sold-out audience at the historic Granada Theatre, in my hometown of Dallas, Texas. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? If I told you, then we wouldn't all be here reading this.
