In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Playing Sonic the Hedgehog on Sega with my dad when I was really young was one of the first musical influences I can remember. I can also vividly remember my mom playing Ace of Base and Madonna on cassettes when we'd drive out to Cedar Point. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? MGMT, Oracular Spectacular Listening to Oracular Spectacular for the first time in 2007 was like waking up for the first time. It was the soundtrack to my youth and is still inspiring almost 15 years later. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Be My Moon” This song is special to me because there are many versions of it. It was the first song I ever wrote and produced. It was originally made during the beginning of the pandemic so it gave me a lot of hope in a dark period of time for the world. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I was a teenager, I used to drive around Cleveland listening to WRUW 91.1 FM hearing all sorts of eclectic bands and musicians. I never thought I'd actually get the chance to make an album and play it live on that same station many years later. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to create a video game that has alternate versions of my songs and plays like an immersive music video.
