In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up in Harlow, Essex. There was an amazing music venue called The Square, where musicians, misfits, and punks (and me) hung out. Sadly it's gone now. I remember seeing bands like Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine, Slowdive, and Pavement. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beck, Morning Phase The Prodigy, The Fat of the Land U2, The Joshua Tree Remastered Got the cassette of The Joshua Tree from the library. I liked the look of the album cover - mesmerized then and still now. The Prodigy!! The Fat of the Land took it to another level. Morning Phase - Beck's finest moment, fell in love again. Tell us why you chose this song. “Why Do I Feel So Sad?” This song encapsulates the feeling of isolation, like when you're in a busy bar or restaurant surrounded by people, you can feel at your most lonely. I gave the country singer Tom Savage the brief, 'Johnny Cash in the Desert' and boy did he deliver! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I co-produced music for the XBOX game Bioshock with Moby. It was an amazing experience, re-imagining songs by Bobby Darin and Billie Holiday. Working with Moby was so valuable, I learned so much about producing and writing string arrangements. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have been lucky enough to remix and produce some really cool artists to-date, Gwen Stefani, Robyn, Moby, Roisin Murphy and MIA. I have just finished a bootleg of Blur's Song 2 and 100% on my bucket list - to co-write a song with Damon Albarn.
