I used to get up on stage in my matching little tux (which was the same as the rest of the band) and would play "Wipeout" by the Safaris. Kansas, The Best ****ansas Van Halen, 1984 Van Halen, 5150 I discovered VH and was given 1984 after I bought 5150. As a then drummer only who loved guitar and singing it gave me a great look at two different styles within a common genre of music. Kansas showed me how to weave themes into rock music. Tell us why you chose this song. “Think It Over” I wrote this song from experiences in life as a cathartic way to cleanse my wounds but also as a musical challenge. I wanted to write a clear pop/rock song with piano as the lead instrument which isn't something I normally would do.
