About Watchhouse

Americana duo Mandolin Orange met in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, in 2009, when they sat in together at a jam session with local band Big Fat Gap.

Blindfaller, the duo’s third album, was included in Rolling Stone’s list of the 40 Best Country Albums of 2016—above releases by country superstars Dolly Parton and Dwight Yoakam.
∙ Their 2019 debut at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium sold out within a matter of hours, causing them to add a second show, which also sold out.
Tides of a Teardrop debuted at No. 1 in 2019 on four separate Billboard charts: Heatseekers, Americana/Folk, Current Country Albums, and Bluegrass.
∙ The duo made their orchestral debut in concert with the Colorado Symphony in 2020.
