About Lucky Rose

Pop melodies and indie-rock guitars meet streamlined house beats in the music of Lucky Rose, a Canadian duo known for wistful songs with a tropical touch. The project got its start in 2015, when Quebec City’s Vincent Carrier wrote “The Way You Want Me,” establishing the deep-in-the-feels brand of atmospheric dance pop that would pave the way to winning the Future Star contest and getting Lucky Rose signed to Ultra Music. Fellow Quebecker Marc-Antoine Thibeault came on board in 2017 and began work on “Lost.” Since then, Lucky Rose has added trap-influenced drums to the mix with 2018’s “Wish You Well” and 2021’s “I Don’t Think About You,” but the basic template remains the same as it was in the beginning: strummed six-strings, sleek grooves, and starry-eyed lyrics keyed to the timeless emotions of youthful passion.
