About Lise de la Salle
A former child prodigy, pianist Lise de la Salle made the transition to adult artist and has released a series of successful albums on the Naïve label. She has a large repertory of Romantic and post-Romantic music, focusing especially on Russian composers. Well before graduating from the Conservatoire de Paris, de la Salle had been signed to the prestigious Naïve label. She released her debut album there, a recital of virtuoso works by Rachmaninov and Ravel, in 2003. With a virtuoso repertory, including concertos by Rachmaninov and Prokofiev, de la Salle has been in demand as a concerto soloist. In 2021, she issued the classical-jazz album When Do We Dance?, featuring music by Ginastera, Ravel, and Gershwin.
