About Lil Migo
Memphis street rapper Lil Migo has amassed a large following by describing his realities and venting his frustrations over catchy beats.
• With encouragement from a rapper uncle, Lil Migo recorded his first song when he was 14. But he didn’t start taking music seriously until 2019.
• The rapper broke through with his 2019 single “Rockstar.” He purposely kept the song under two minutes, so people would stream it over and over again.
• Memphis legend Yo Gotti publicly attempted to sign Lil Migo for $500,000. Migo recorded 2019’s “Rumors” about people’s reactions to the offer. He then dropped a sequel in 2020 explaining why he turned down another deal for $2 million.
