In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first time rapping was at 15 years old in Hume Studios, at the Hume Lake Summer Camp in California. My friends and I thought it would be funny to record a rap song, but when I got in front of the mic, I got a feeling I've been chasing ever since. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city (Deluxe Version) Logic, Under Pressure (Deluxe Edition) Mumford & Sons, Wilder Mind It's hard to pick three, but Under Pressure is such a cohesive piece of art, g.k.m.c greatly contributed to my own personal sound, and I just think there are no bad songs on Wilder Mind. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Macho Man” This song marks the beginning of a new era in my music. For a long time I've been trying to find "my sound", and unique, experimental songs like this propel that journey forward. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I did a show at a youth conference a while back, but the best part was the next day when they brought me back to answer some questions about my life with Jesus. The kids were super receptive, and it was the first time my music felt like a ministry. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There's a ton of things, but I just recently went to a show at the Van Buren in Downtown Phoenix, and playing there would definitely be a full circle moment.
