Bob Dylan, Blood On the Tracks Ed Sheeran, x (Deluxe Edition) October Project, October Project Great songwriting on every track is something that takes an album to levels that are rare like a gem that is found and given to the world. Tell us why you chose this song. “Where the Monarchs Fly” A good friend created a monarch sanctuary on her property. It made me curious, so I researched this butterfly and discovered their spiritual connection to many people and a desire to pilgrimage to the monarch's sanctuaries in Mexico for healing. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The first song I wrote was to my wife on our 40th anniversary. I played it for her on Napili Beach on Maui. People were watching and listening and some had tears in their eyes. I still play this song for her on every one of our anniversaries. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Songwriters are always on that quest to weave the right music and lyrics together that transcends the normalcy of everyday life and takes listeners to places they might only reach through the magic of a perfect song. Someday we might just find it.
