In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I had a Casio keyboard in the 80s... any older listeners remember that? I was young, probably five or six, but I remember "playing" that thing for hours. I graduated from that to a full-sized keyboard, then I got the guitar I still have today. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dave Matthews Band, Crash Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin Deluxe Edition deadmau5, Day of the deadmau5, Live in Chicago, 2020 DJ Mix Mythic, strange, calm, energetic, and eclectic sounds representing these widely talented groups helped me to decide to be a fan of music that makes music. These bands were students throughout their careers, and I am passionate about doing the same. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “0M38s Full Speed Action” The first song ever. Fifteen years of age and discovering instruments, computers, the internet, synthesizers, and computer-generated music. I fell in love with storytelling digitally and placing those songs in my short films—the first song of many. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was part of the Emmy Award-winning teams for Passion of the Christ and Polar Express. Though that is not about music, the new films I produce at LIDIE Studios (named after my late beautiful daughter) will include my music on Amazon and Pureflix. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Working with all the studios as an Editor behind the scenes for films, music, and tv, I would love my music to be used by filmmakers and other musicians and know I am helping to give back and help others produce more art.
