In the artist’s words: What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? SHeDAISY, Knock On the Sky Sara Bareilles, Little Voice Trick Pony, Trick Pony Knock on the Sky, Trick Pony, and Little Voice were the soundtrack of my childhood. SHeDAISY taught my lyric craft, Trick Pony taught me how to sing and entertain, and Sara Bareilles inspired me to learn the entire album on piano when I was 15. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing 8-12 shows a week, releasing my debut album Going Somewhere, and seeing strangers sing my lyrics back to me-those are the moments that remind me I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? In no particular order, I’d love to headline a major festival, write a hit for another artist, and play the Grand Ole Opry at least once! But most of all, I want to keep turning the life I once felt stuck in into songs that give others a way out.
