In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up in a music-oriented family on both sides of my parents. If anything else became my passion /special interest I don't think I would be me. I jammed a lot with my cousins and siblings growing up, writing songs and parodies since 7. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Avril Lavigne, Under My Skin Josie and the Pussycats, Josie and The Pussycats - Music From The Motion Picture The Veronicas, The Secret Life of the Veronicas These albums along with many more are a solid part of my youth and just make me super happy there's great melodies and they taught me a lot about songwriting. Tell us why you chose this song. “April's Fool” I wrote this song as an anthemic reminder to value yourself and not fall into situationships but to have fun if they do happen, and just care for yourself better and to not go back there, because you'll just get hurt again or be disappointed. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Attending local music industry events in my home city, and just meeting more people. My favourite person I have connected with since early 2024 is my collaborator Stuart Smith who's helped John (Bedroom Guitarist) and I demo heaps of new works. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'm working on a whole album worth of songs presently. Completing it is the hard part and having the spoons to record at end of the day as an AuDHD parent of 3. Life gets pretty busy, but I'm never throwing in the towel.I just want to finish things.
