Kanye West, The Life of Pablo Kanye West, Yeezus Lorde, Melodrama I love the texture and cohesion of these albums. I think it's really important to have a discernible sonic palette you paint your album with, and to tell a compelling narrative within that palette. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Make It Out” The hook of Make It Out was for a different beat. Joey pulled it into a new project file and made the whole track in about 15 minutes while I was playing Halo. I then did the verse pretty quickly, whole song probably took 45 minutes. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the coolest things for me is getting to see all the personal playlists people add our music too. It's really meaningful, because it means they have a connection with the song and aren't just listening because it's on at a show or on the radio. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to create and release an album I think is perfect. The only thing that really matters to me is impressing myself, because I'm the toughest critic I know.
