About Lainey Wilson

Country singer-songwriter Lainey Wilson learned guitar at age 11, and she earned money during high school by playing children’s birthday parties as a Hannah Montana impersonator.

∙ While struggling to make it in Nashville, Wilson cowrote “Sheriff You Want To” with rising country star Luke Combs, who recorded it in 2016.
Tougher, her 2016 debut, reached No. 44 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart.
∙ Kasey Tyndall’s rowdy 2017 single “Bar That’s Open” was cowritten by Wilson and country star Ashley McBryde.
∙ CMT named her as part of their Next Women of Country class of 2019.
∙ Wilson’s 2019 EP, Redneck Hollywood, was helmed by award-winning producer and songwriter Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Little Big Town, Zac Brown Band).
∙ In 2020, she collaborated with the country duo Muscadine Bloodline on “Pieces,” from their EP Turn Back Time.
