In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up singing harmonies at the piano with my mom. From there I played drums and sang in a Beatles cover band, eventually I sang lead in a rock group, and eventually started writing my own songs and performing a solo act and I never stopped. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Amanda McBroom, The Amanda Albums: Growing Up In Hollywood Town/West of Oz Crosby, Stills & Nash, Crosby, Stills & Nash The Byrds, Mr. Tambourine Man Reissue Edition with Bonus Tracks The Byrds taught me the power of vocal harmonies. The Beatles showed me music could be completely original and unlike anything else. Amanda McBroom inspired me to tell my own life story through songs. Tell us why you chose this song. “Until the Darkness Fades Away” This song is about a man who loved someone deeply for years. He could feel that the relationship was going to end and felt the need to put his feelings down in a song. He played it for her shortly before they parted ways. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I've been writing and performing songs since my twenties. The most memorable part of this journey has been performing them live and seeing people connect with my music. There's nothing like singing a song you wrote and having an audience enjoy it. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to have a song placed in a film, TV show or picked up by a major recording artist? Having one of my songs performed at a major event would be awesome.
