About Kit Chan

With a decades-spanning career, Kit Chan is a Singaporean icon. She was the forerunner of the country’s contemporary Mandopop output, and successfully opened the gates to the Taiwanese market. But it was her emotional National Day song “Home” from 1998 that made her a household name in her native country. Chan's unique vocal colour shines on slow-tempo ballads, evoking nostalgia through an elegant recount with hints of jazz and bossa nova. Through timeless classics like “心動 (Moved)” and “天冷就回来 (Come Back When It Turns Cold)”, Chan has inspired generations to achieve their dreams and realised many of her own both on and off the stage.
