In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember buying my first album ever - Michael Jackson's Thriller - from Strawberries when I was six years old. I played it over and over until I wore out the tape. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Faith No More, Angel Dust Mitski, Be the Cowboy Nine Inch Nails, The Downward Spiral Explicit Version The Downward Spiral and Angel Dust were foundational albums that helped shape the music I created from my beginnings in the 1990s to today. Be The Cowboy is a modern masterpiece. All of these albums are masterclasses in songwriting and production. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hey I” I feel like this is one of the best songs I've ever written. The melody came to me in a dream. The lyrics flowed forth easily. It's a simple song at its core, but sometimes simple is the most powerful. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Finishing my first solo album, Everything's Fine, after more than three decades of writing and playing music. Even though it was a drop of water in an ocean of music, finally completing a work of art and putting it out there was incredibly gratifying Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd like to play shows around the country and the world. I'd love to collaborate on music with all variety of artists. I'd love to branch out musically and explore new sounds.
