I got the name wrong and told the teacher I wanted to play trumpet, but when they put it in my hand and sent me into the trumpet class I was the only one who could get a sound out of it on that first day. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo, Voodoo Hiatus Kaiyote, Choose Your Weapon J.Kelr, King Oliver Trumpet, Grizzly Peak Blvd. - EP I heard these first two albums within a couple years of each other at a pivotal time in my life. I grew up on a lot music from the Soulquarians and Voodoo really captures the essence of that era. Hiatus just takes it one step further.
