About Kina Grannis

After winning a nationwide Crash the Super Bowl contest, singer-songwriter Kina Grannis had a clip for her song “Message from Your Heart” played during the 2008 Super Bowl.

∙ Thanks to Grannis’ popular online videos and song placements in General Hospital and College Life, her 2010 folk-pop album, Stairwells, was a Top 20 hit.
∙ Her 2010 time-lapse-animation video for the flirty love song “Valentine” has garnered more than 22 million views.
∙ As one of the internet’s earliest independent pop stars, she won Best Web-Born Artist honors at the 2011 MTV O Music Awards.
∙ She worked with Grammy-nominated producer Aqualung on her 2014 album, Elements, which delivered a more instrumentally robust and percussively rich backdrop for her evolving songwriting.
∙ In 2018, Grannis appeared as the wedding singer crooning “I Can’t Help Falling in Love with You” in the highest-grossing rom-com of the 2010s, Crazy Rich Asians.
In the Waiting, her intimately confessional 2018 LP, was the first album released on her fan-funded label, KG Records.
