In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My 1st grade teacher played Swan Lake for us, gave us crayons and paper and told us to draw what we heard. It was mesmerizing! What I remember most is that I lost interest in the crayons--I really instruments and the ability to paint with sound!
