Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Baaba Maal, Firin' In Fouta Dr. John, Anutha Zone Eric Clapton, From the Cradle Three huge musical experiences for us: recording 'African woman' for Baaba, 'Sweet home New Orleans' for Dr John. Then Eric's 'From the Cradle' album recorded with the whole band playing together live in the studio, with Jim Keltner, Chris Stainton. Tell us why you chose this song. “Black Disciples” This is one of my favourite tracks off our first album.I saw Ernest Ranglin live at the Jazz Cafe and was blown away by his lyrical rhythmic playing - I really wanted to cover one of his tunes and Annie Whitehead played such a beautiful solo on it.
