In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. On a hot summer day in Brussels, aged nine, I played piano with the balcony doors open. Our neighbour rang the bell to say she had been listening from her garden, moved by the music. It was my first sense of music reaching beyond walls. We would arrive very early, just as the sun was rising. Those quiet, golden moments filled with anticipation and light still live within the music. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Hearing my music performed by a classical orchestra and a woodwind band was unforgettable. Creating bespoke music for a major light festival in the Netherlands was another highlight, bringing my work into a unique and immersive setting. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes, I would love to compose a soundtrack for a major film, creating a fully immersive musical world that supports and elevates the story on screen.
