Pianist Kenny Broberg has won medals at top piano events, including the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition and the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Russia. He is part of the roster of the Steinway & Sons label. His recording debut came when his Cliburn competition performances were released. Broberg has appeared with orchestras in several American cities and beyond under such conductors as Leonard Slatkin, Vasily Petrenko, and Kent Nagano. Broberg released an album of sonatas by Rachmaninov, Scriabin, and Nikolay Medtner in 2023. He is deputy professor at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid, Spain.
