About Kash Doll
Frank rapper Kash Doll has channeled her life-long love of hip-hop and performance into a music career. Within only a few years of releasing her first commercial single, the Detroit native signed a deal with major-label Republic and hit the Billboard 200 in 2019 with Stacked, her full-length debut.
Born Arkeisha Knight, Kash Doll worked as an exotic dancer to support her family, but she quit to concentrate on music, booking her first gigs in the Detroit area in 2014. After dropping the well-received single covering AV's "Run Me My Money," Kash Doll released her first mixtape, K.R.E.A.M. Kash Rules Everything Around Me, in early 2015 with production on some tracks from 808 Mafia member Purps. Late the next year, she returned with another online mixtape, Keisha vs. Kash Doll, and issued a handful of singles, including "For Everybody," in 2017. Signed to Republic, Kash Doll continued her ascent in 2018 with the commercial mixtape Brat Mail and the single "Ice Me Out," the latter of which did well with a remix featuring 2 Chainz. During 2019, she toured with Meek Mill, earned the Spirit of Detroit award (for her charitable work with Kash Doll Enterprises), and released Stacked, her first album. It entered the Billboard 200 at number 76, driven by the Big Sean collaboration "Ready Set." ~ Fred Thomas
