Kaisa's Machine

Kaisa's Machine is a collaborative ensemble led by Finnish bassist Kaisa Mäensivu with a sound that combines Nordic jazz traditions and harmonically adventurous New York post-bop. They debuted with 2017's In the Key of K and gained wider attention with their 2023 Greenleaf recording Taking Shape.
