About Julie Sévilla-Fraysse

Cellist Julie Sévilla-Fraysse struck out her own as a soloist after an orchestral career. In 2013, Sévilla-Fraysse made her recording debut on the album Viva V.E.R.D.I. with the Giovanni Mirabassi Trio. In 2017, Sévilla-Fraysse began her professional career as a cellist with the Orchestre de la Garde Républicaine. She remained with that group through the summer of 2019, moving at that time to the Orchestra of the Paris Opera. She remained with that group until the summer of 2023, departing in order to launch a solo career. Sévilla-Fraysse very quickly landed solo appearances with such groups as the Philharmonic Orchestra of Morocco. In 2019, she appeared on the album Rêveries by pop artist Rob Simonsen. Sévilla-Fraysse made her classical debut as a featured artist on the album Schubert by harpist Anja Linder. Sévilla-Fraysse serves as artistic director of the organization CoCreate Humanity in Switzerland.
