Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Caetano Veloso, Livro Joni Mitchell, Hejira Paul Simon, Graceland IMO: - The compositions and lyrics of "Livro" by Caetano are among the best ever written. The orchestral arrangements by Morelenbaum are brilliant. - Graceland is a record I can never get tired of hearing. - Hejira: the best album ever made? Caroline Shaw)” Live performance at the Banff Centre, CAN. First attempt at writing for strings. Only had 15 min. to rehearse before performing. I arranged the piece 3 days before the show, encouraged by Maestra Caroline Shaw, who joined us as well (no rehearsal!).
