In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was ten years old I would spend hours writing lyrics in my head and trying to match those with catchy melodies while driving my bicycle in circles in the driveway of my childhood home. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jackson Browne, Jackson Browne - Solo Acoustic, Vol. 1 & 2 (Live) James Taylor, One Man Band (Live) Live at the Colonial Theatre Paul Simon, You're the One Bonus Tracks Edition I love these three songwriters and have reached for these specific albums time and again through the years; not just for songwriting inspiration, but to remember why I love music and songwriting in the first place. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Am Me” This song resonates with me in fresh ways each time I play it live. It's very personal and yet its message- that God calls us each to become fully human through Jesus Christ- is something that resonate with everyone, with our without faith. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? At several points in my career I was invited to perform for major record labels in the Country & Christian markets. As thrilling as those times were, they don't compare to discovering my threefold vocation of Musician/Priest/Therapist. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Even though I rarely perform songs from "Somehow I Knew" these days, I really believe in those songs and would love to see one of them covered by another artist in the future!
