In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. It's hard to pinpoint just one because music has been the driving force my entire life. I spent years juggling musical theatre, choral singing, and orchestra afraid that I'd have to choose just one path, but they've all converged in my writing. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Sufjan Stevens, Illinois Tegan and Sara, So Jealous The Dresden Dolls, Yes, Virginia It's impossible to pick just 3 favorites, but I'll say that these albums were extremely influential to me during my teen years. Tell us why you chose this song. “Let Go” I started writing this song one night driving home from the hospital where my father was dying. I wanted to capture the struggle of accepting inevitable loss and grief and the anxiety of facing things out of our control.
