In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. For as long as I can remember, I've been jamming with my dad--a self-taught blues-rock guitarist-- and my brother on drums. I used to get up onstage and sing covers as a kid with my dad's band. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Eva Cassidy, Live At Blues Alley International Version Lorde, Melodrama Radiohead, OK Computer OK Computer is the most remarkable piece of alternative rock-- it expanded my understanding of music. Melodrama inspired me to begin writing my own album when I was living in Madrid, Spain. And, Eva Cassidy is my most beloved vocal influence. Tell us why you chose this song. “Figure In Blue” Perhaps the simplest lyrically of all of my songs, Figure in Blue sticks with me because of my haunting melody, dreamy production, and clear message. I fly to a different place within this song, where the light is fading on a past love.
