In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a young child, I was always surrounded by music. My mother was an avid music lover and made me discover the sound of the piano. My early memories of music, combined with my growing passion, led me to pursue a career as a piano composer. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Al Stewart, Al Stewart: Greatest Hits Dustin O'Halloran, Lumiere Sally Whitwell, All Imperfect Things: The Piano Music of Michael Nyman Memories of me falling in love with the initial chords of 'The Year of the Cat' from Al Stewart, or my tears watching 'The Piano' and understanding the power of storytelling with music, or when I decided to compose listening to Dustin O'Halloran. Tell us why you chose this song. “Mirando al Mar” I did fall in love with the music of Ariel Ramírez and the known Alfonsina y el Mar singed by Mercedes Sosa, knowing the story and reading the incredible poems of Alfonsina Storni inspired me to compose this piano piece and create my first album. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My very first concert in the same conservatory in Vila-seca (Tarragona - Spain) where I did start learning piano and be able to see my very first piano teacher in the audience getting emotional with my compositions. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Would love to continue telling many stories with my music. I hope life will give me the opportunity to do that and bring more and more music and feel that the support of the people for these stories continue.
