In the scrapbook of my childhood mind there is a melange of crayons on Willie Nelson’s tour bus and he calls me the best colorer in the world, of Waylon Jennings and me picking out matching shirts & his happy-birthday-answering-machine-messages. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Alchemist” I wrote this song, or rather channeled it, from my late husband when he passed away. I knew that I wasn't the only one who needed this one, but anyone who was grieving. So while in the desert, I borrowed a guitar & wrote it on the spot.
