In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest memories are of my dad listening to traditional blues, jazz and gospel tracks, so as a little child this was the music I was growing with. And then I discovered rock music and I loved Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Nazareth and Uriah Heep. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa, Don't Explain Etta James, Blues to the Bone Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin Deluxe Edition Etta James's album is just a quintessential blues with a mixing of soul and jazz- very much my inspiration. Led Zeppelin, that first album was true revelation for me of just how well you can rock the blues! Don't Explain- great, modern blues rock! Tell us why you chose this song. “November Leaves Song” I like my blues rock ballad comparing an ending of love to November leaves. But there will be a new spring bringing new hope and maybe new love. So if you're leaving babe- don't come back, my love for you will be gone, just like last year's leaves.
