In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad is a musician, composer, and vocalist. I remember him practicing the piano and organ- among other instruments. He'd let me sing and play the piano with him while he put together arrangements for the choirs he directed. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alicia Keys, The Diary of Alicia Keys Jill Scott, By Popular Demand Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill One of the first CD's I ever owned was "The Diary of Alicia Keys," she had me practicing piano daily. "By Popular Demand" and "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" made me fall in love with poetry and with love itself. All hits and no misses on these! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My first gig, I created a 2-hour cover set of songs that've carried me through different forms & phases of love. I remember feeling so blessed and thankful to be able to hold the mic, sing, and have others sing along with me. It felt like magic. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The moon is the limit. I'm just getting started, my list is long.
