About John Villemonte
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I first heard Elvis sing “Jailhouse Rock,” I felt like my whole being had just been plugged into an electrical socket! In those 2-3 minutes, I felt a connection had been made in my heart forever with this exotic, glorious thing called MUSIC! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Genesis, Selling England By the Pound Judee Sill, Heart Food Remastered The Who, Who's Next Who's Next because it is power mixed with grace and spirituality. Selling England because it contains the song "Firth of Fifth"—nuff said! And Heart Food because it contains the "The Kiss,"—the most transcendent love song I've ever heard! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Am the Moonlight” It's a haunting, stark song that carries secrets behind the words. When I was writing it, I felt I became the moonlight, shining down upon the Earth, looking into our human lives—and bearing witness to our failures, our fears, our love.
