About Joe Charter

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was with my brother Jerry in Las Vegas. We had tickets to see the J.Geils Band and Foghat together just me and him. I remember the bass vibrating what was then called "The Aladdin Hotel and Convention Center" My brothers were all strong influences! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dave Matthews Band, Crash Neil Young, Harvest Pink Floyd, The Wall Roger Daltrey has always been one of my favorite songwriters. Even though his vocals are not as strong as mine, his songs always impressed me! The creativity and passion of the topics in the lyrics were and remain amazing! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hard Look” When I wrote this song it was with my own mother in mind. As kids we do some dumb ass shit. Mothers like mine kept us in line because well, they fed us! If mom is not happy no-one is happy in the household as the saying goes! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I would say the show in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. I was honored to headline the International DeLorean Car Show attended by a couple of thousand people and was joined on stage by line dancers that created a dance to my song "Delorean" Released 2006. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I am determined to produce a top 10 hit before I die, and intend on being the oldest artist in history to do so. I am determined to collaborate this effort through major studio's in Nashville or Muscle Shoals Alabama. Lastly produce 3 covers in 2025.
