Blue Rodeo, Five Days In July Hem, Rabbit Songs Tom Waits, Rain Dogs Five Days in July is a perfect album of perfect songs, Hem's Rabbit Songs may be the most beautiful thing I've ever heard, and Rain Dogs is the soundtrack to a movie in which I want to live. Tell us why you chose this song. “Down to Desperation” Songs are like children. Some do their homework without asking and others won't grow up without a fight. I wrestled with "Down to Desperation" for years and I couldn't be more proud of how it turned out. People sing it back to me all the time!
