∙ Their swaggering, garage-rocking debut album, 2003’s Get Born, was certified eight-times Platinum in Australia.

∙ At the 2004 ARIA Music Awards, the group won six of the seven honors for which they were nominated, including Album of the Year, Single of the Year, and Best Band.
∙ Punk godfather Iggy Pop invited Jet in 2008 to record a cover of “Real Wild Child (Wild One)” in tribute to ’50s Australian rock legend Johnny O’Keefe.
∙ In 2009, they played both all-star bushfire-relief charity shows in Sydney and Melbourne, the latter of which set a record for the largest paid concert in the nation's history.
