About Jess Moskaluke
Jess Moskaluke strikes a balance between seamless pop smarts and pure country heart, and that’s what made her one of Canadian country’s key singer/songwriters in the 2010s and beyond. Born in Langenburg, Saskatchewan, in 1990, Moskaluke started attracting attention in 2011, winning contests that earned her a spot at the CMA Music Festival in Nashville the following year and that put her heart-heavy delivery in front of larger crowds. The 2014 single “Cheap Wine & Cigarettes” from her debut album, Light Up the Night, launched Moskaluke into the upper rungs of the Canadian country scene, where its sleek production, slow-burn vibe, and passion-packed vocal was a natural fit. Moskaluke has since established herself as a perennial go-to for country fans who like their tunes with a hefty dose of deep-down emotion. In 2019, she scored her first No. 1 with the danceable, hook-heavy hit “Country Girls.” The appropriately titled Demos landed in 2021, and Moskaluke kicked off 2025 with the single "Life for Me"—an earnest look at small-town living.
